Author’s note- the story should end like this because a twisted ending is great for this type of story
And when Cody tried to melt the golden hook a storm had rolled in, and something was moving strangely outside. But when he went to look at the mysterious figure it was gone. He thought that he was going insane but he saw it again. But this time it was closer than before, and he noticed that this figure had no left hand. Lightning stroke the ground and he saw that it was Clarence coming to his house with a big ax. And when he was close enough he threw his ax and it almost hit Cody right in the chest. So then he takes the hook and is yelling help and running as fast as he can. He looks back to see the moving corpse of Clarence close to him. He needs to go faster, but he couldn't. But then he finds that no one is in any shops. So he runs to his neighbor's house and bangs on the door a couple of times but then he looks in the window to find that they are all dead. Cody looks behind him to see that Clarence is there. Then he looks up at his ax in the air and then Clarence yells “Cody Miller, I TOLD YOU TO BURY ME WITH MY HOOK NOT WITHOUT IT!” and then he brings his mighty ax down, and Cody is now in two separate parts. And then Clarence Buchanan takes his hook and goes back to his grave but before he lays for his final slumber he shouts “IF YOU TRY TO TAKE MY GOLDEN HOOK, YOU AND ALL YOU KNOW WILL PAY THE GREATEST PRICE!” he paused for a second and then shouted once more “WITH YOUR LIFE!” and with that he was gone.
VERY TELLING, NATHAN. OBVIOUSLY CODY MADE THE WRONG CHOICE.
